I woke up early in the morning and remembered that it maybe is possible to see the comet at the Northeast horizon.
Took a serie of photos with the smart phone, maybe the comet is bright enough for that.
At this time the comet's core is only 2 degrees above horizon and is below the trees but the tail extend upwards by far.
Examined the photos later and couldn't see any trace of the comet on any of the photos. |

New comets are always exciting, they appear on the sky a couple of months or only a few weeks.
This one I was able to photograph from our balcony, it was not until 3:30 a.m. in the morning it show up.
If I'm lucky I get another clear sky when it's at its maximum brightnes.
When I started it was only 7 degrre above the horizon, the Sun was almost going up too. |
