Found an olda photo of the open cluster Melotte 111 that I haven't processed earlier.
The Galaxy to the left is NGC4564, also called the Needle Galaxy.
The bright star at middle top is gamma Comae Berenices with magnitude 4.3, it belongs to the constellation Coma Berenices.
The top part of the open cluster Mel111 starts at this star, the cluster has about 40 bright stars.

This is my very very first digital deep sky photo.
A lot of galaxies can be seen.
Those galaxies with a lot of dust is colored purple because the lack of a blocking Infra red filter, dust radiate in IR. |
