The rays from the crater Tycho are clearly seen,
up to 2000 km length. The Moons diameter is 3476 km.
The magnification was so big that I had to do a 2x2 mosaic.
The MTO Rubinar was a very advanced lens, but it has some problem with internal reflections.
It looked to be a Maksutov design. |

The craters are more easy to see (the shadows) when the moon is in half phase.
The extender was a very old construction, maybe 1960s.
It has the Pentax M42 thread which make it very sturdy. |
