1976 years Chevrolet Corvette, Tyresö 1981

In 1980 I had done my military duty and needed a new toy, a Corvette!

Chevrolet Corvette L82 1976

This Corvette was equipped with the optional 350 cu in (5.7 liter) L82 engine with 210 hp output. The automatic gearbox was a TH400, last year for this car, later models had the smaller TH350. There was no big block 454cc this year. Silver paint and black interior. As all Corvettes of this years it had the nice Targa roof or T-top.

This model is called C3 and was manufactured between 1969 and 1982 (the C2 1963 to 1967 model have a similar chassi), you can read more about this model here:

Only 22000km and in excellent condition, I never had a car with that low mileage earlier. I didn't use it very much and only had it for a short time in 1981. But I should have kept it longer, because the Corvettes became more and more attractive, if I had waited a year or two to sell it I could have sold it for twice the money.

I really like my Corvette but the exhaust pipes looks very ugly.

Corvette 1969 C3:

My friend still own his Corvette, it's a classic 1969 C3 cab. More than 50 years old now and needs some attention. Non functional heater system and some problem with the rear axle. It's always interesting to following what he is doing with his car. I have written down some parts with photos of it here.

Chevrolet Corvette C3 1969 cab. With its yellow paint and chrome bumbers it looks a lot more aggressive than my Corvette. This model is from the classic years, 1968 to 1972.
