Simulation of 1927 years solar eclipse:

Solar Eclipse 1927, Sweden Star chart from CdC (Skychart)

The star chart simulation is the software CdC (Skychart). This is a free software that you can download and do your own simulations, not only solar eclipses.

Solar Eclipse from 1927, the Sun is in the constellation Gemini during the maximum, but it's not a total eclipse in Umeå, you must be more to the North.

From NASA's Solar Eclipse Search Engine it's possible to find older solar eclipse data. From that I also got this map and data. It's the 1927 solar eclipse and Saros 145. A Saros cycle is about 18 years long. The solar eclipse' path is very far North in Sweden, it pass through Norway and Finland too. I can't find any who witnessed the solar eclipse from 1927.

Simulation of 1945 years solar eclipse:

Solar Eclipse 1945, Sweden Star chart from CdC (Skychart)

The star chart simulation is the software CdC (Skychart). This is a free software that you can download and do your own simulations, not only solar eclipses.

Solar Eclipse from 1945, this is a simulation how it looked from Uppsala. It was not a total eclipse at this place. The Sun is not far away from the planet Saturn that must have been visible during the eclipse even if it wasn't a total eclipse.

This is the solar eclipse from 1945, Saros 145. Even this solar eclipse' path is in the Northern Sweden. The shadow pass through Mo and Sorsele in Sweden. I know some people up here, maybe I could get some story from them.

If you are born in the 1920s or 1930s and happens to lived in Northern Sweden 1945 then you should have experienced this solar eclipse, any memories from someone ?
