2, Tools and Powerbox:

Jacek has built his own powerbox with volt and ampere instrument. And one of his special tools when working with lenses and optics, I have that optical tool too.

Tool for optics:

When adjusting optics or taking them apart for cleaning there is a need of a special tool. Without it it's big risk of damaging the lens or the barrel that hold it.

Jacek's project

Jacek's comment:
"I've been messing around a bit. Had to make an intermediate ring to get the 46.5mm back focus for the 300mm Nikon lens. It was tricky, M42x0.75 internal and M48x0.75 external. The ring is only 2.4 mm thick. It is a 300 mm lens, Nikon adapter with "sick" thread. My adaptation, filter holder and ZWO camera."

"Also in the picture is a tool I found on Ebay a long time ago, an adjustable camera tool that doesn't cut locking rings. I drilled two small holes in the ring to mount, it works. The shiny ring is screwed into the black one above. It's completely hidden so it does not need to be blackened."

Power distribution system:

Jacek's project

Jacek's comment:
"Also attaching the picture of my power distribution system. When everything is plugged in, it barely draws 4A. All sockets are secured. Now I have to think about whether I should have a miniPC with a gateway mounted on top of the assembly so that they go with it or on some shelf below. It is a question of how many cables are carried along and risk getting stuck."
